Did you know that one third of the human food supply depends on insect pollination and most of this is accomplished by Bees?
Join us as we visit a Sonoma County Beekeeper and honey producer, Arrowsmith Farms. We take an exciting look into a bee hive to learn how a bee colony evolves and how honey is produced.
An interesting fact is that a honeybee queen may lay 2000 eggs per day during spring buildup, but she also must lay 1000-1500 eggs per day during the foraging season, simply to replace the casualties.
